‍About me:

‍I am Martin Eyl, an experienced CFO and entrepreneur with a passion for financial planning and strategic growth. Early on, I recognized how important precise financial management is to a company's success. This conviction has guided me throughout my career—from my time as a consultant at McKinsey to leadership roles in startups, where I have supported companies through phases of founding, growth, and restructuring. I am currently proud to be working as CFO at Tidely with a great team on cash flow planning software that helps CFOs and entrepreneurs make more informed decisions and sharpen their focus on the future.

‍My approach:

‍For me, financial planning is not just about numbers; it is a tool for shaping companies in a sustainable and innovative way. Combining an analytical mindset with a pragmatic approach to execution, I work to develop financial strategies that create value not just in the short term, but for the long haul. Over the decades, I have created and monitored daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow plans in Excel myself, so I know the pain caused by these time-consuming and often error-prone processes. I know from personal experience that Excel is not a good solution for these challenges. That is exactly why I am so passionate about working on Tidely—software that relieves CFOs and entrepreneurs of this pain and offers them a real alternative to bring transparency and security to their financial planning.

‍Personal:

‍Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family—I am married and a proud father of three. In my free time, I am an avid hockey player and skier, activities that not only keep me physically fit but also help me clear my head. This balance between professional and private life helps me approach my projects with a clear focus and full commitment.
